Children's Ministry

Summit Woods is dedicated to helping parents disciple their children to Magnify God by Making Disciples of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Mornings

Children's Sunday school meets from 9 to 10am, during the our Adult Equipping Class hour. This is an exciting time for children to participate in small group Bible study. Our teachers love God and the opportunity to share God's Word with children. For more information, see the Children's ministry blog.

Our worship gathering begins as 10:30am. Preschoolers and young children begin the service with their families in the main sanctuary. At approximately 11:00am, children are dismissed for Preschool Church (2 years to pre-K) and Children's Church (grades K-3). During this time children are taught to worship God by caring and loving teachers, in a very interactive environment.

Check-in Procedures for Bed Babies through 6th grade--It is our objective to simplify and expedite the process without compromising the safety of your children. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our procedures, in addition to identifying the check-in location in the foyer near the Children’s Ministry hallway.  They can be found in this document
