Lee’s Summit Preschool – Little Lambs
Little Lambs Preschool is a ministry of Summit Woods Church, located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Following is some information about this exciting opportunity for your young student.
Program
Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
- 9:00 am-12:00 pm
- eligible ages 3 and 4 whose birthdays come on or prior to July 31
- child must be toilet-trained
Our School Year
- Little Lambs’ school year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day
- All holidays, breaks, and snow days follow the schedule of the Lee’s Summit public school district
- The school year ends the middle of May
Enrollment
Little Lambs has a limited enrollment and enrollment is taken on a first-come, first-served basis. A $30 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve a space for your child. Enroll by June 30 to receive 50% off enrollment fee.
About us
Little Lambs’ director is Peggy George. Peggy is the proud mother of four grown children, one five year old adopted from China, and seven grandchildren.
As well as Little Lamb’s Director/Teacher she is also the Children’s Director here at Summit Woods.
Prior to coming to Summit Woods Peggy was a local Christian school teacher for 15 years.
A love for children and the deep desire to see children involved in child-centered activities that involve learning academics and a love for God is extremely important to Peggy. Classroom time is spent utilizing hands on, group, and individual activities.
Here at Summit Woods teaching and instructing children are a high priority as seen through our Little Lambs Program, as well as, other church programs, such as VBS, Sunday School, Awana, and special events.
Our purpose
Little Lambs is a child-centered program driven by Christian values. We provide learning activities that allow children to develop socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.
