Lee’s Summit Preschool – Little Lambs
Little Lambs Preschool is a ministry of Summit Woods Church, located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Following is some information about this exciting opportunity for your young student.
Programs
Pre-Kindergarteners (Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday)
- Class #1 — 9:00 to 11:45am
- Class #2 — 12:15 to 3:00pm
- $130 per month
Eligibility
- Your child must be at least 4 years old by July 31st
- Your child must be toilet-trained
Our School Year
- Little Lambs’ school year begins after Labor Day
- All holidays, breaks, and snow days follow the schedule of the Lee’s Summit public school district
- The school year ends the middle of May
Enrollment
Little Lambs has a limited enrollment and enrollment is taken on a first-come, first-served basis. A $40 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve a space for your child. Enroll early to ensure your spot.
About us
Little Lambs’ director is
Hollie Shippy. Hollie received a bachelor’s
degree in elementary education from William Jewell in 1993, taught for four
years in the public school system, and is a Missouri
state-certified educator.
She was a stay-at-home mom with her two sons, and then ran a preschool out of her home for two years after the boys started attending school. 2009 will be her third year directing the preschool at Summit Woods. Hollie is excellent with children. She has led numerous child-centered activities and is currently serving as VBS director and AWANA games leader at Summit Woods. Additional staff will be hired according to final enrollment numbers. All staff of Little Lambs are degreed and certified teachers.
Our purpose
Little Lambs is a child-centered program driven by Christian values. We provide learning activities that allow children to develop socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.
