Helping and Healing Ministry
The Summit Woods Helping & Healing Ministry offers various support groups on Sunday nights from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
At present we are offering Making Peace With Your Past – This is a study and support group for adult children of dysfunctional families. We will be offering a womens only group for this semester. Books are $15.00 and will be available the first night of the study.
In the fall we will resume Griefshare – This is a support/learning community for those who have experienced all kinds of losses. This group will cover stages of grief, coping with loss, spiritual questions of tragedy and other issues that are part of the grieving process. Member books that go along with the video lessons are available but not mandatory. Support, discussion and share time will be incorporated in our time together.
